Total Donations Raised through the Tokyo Marathon 2025 Charity

In addition to Sports Legacy Programs 1 and 2, the Tokyo Marathon 2025 Charity has added “Sports Legacy Program 3” as a relief and support projects for the disaster-affected areas of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and has accepted applications for donations and charity runners.
We are therefore pleased to announce the results of the total amount of donations.

◎Sports Legacy Program 1
Total amount of Donations: 59,772,001 yen
Charity Runner Feeling (excerpt)：
I am making this donation to combine my passion for sport and making a positive impact on society by supporting Sports Legacy Program. Running had such a positive impact on me after losing my mother and both my husbands parents within 3 months of one another. Facing such sadness running gave me hope improved my mental health & a reason to get up. I hope my donation will provide help and more people will have the opportunity to participate in sports helping them achieve their dreams whilst developing their physical mental & emotional health. I would be honoured to contribute to their success with my donation.

◎Sports Legacy Program 2
Total amount of Donations: 9,743,000 yen
Charity Runner Feeling (excerpt)：
I went to Fukushima last year with family, people such as adults and children are so nice and kind so I want to support the people whom from Iwate, Miyagi or Fukushima who had affect from the earthquake. And I think I can support this origination through this program because sport can bring socially, courage, hope and dreams back together.

Total amount of Donations: 25,399,000 yen
Charity Runner Feeling (excerpt)：
I was born in North Sulawesi, the area is similar to Japan in which so many weak geological structures that can cause disaster to people when implemented as tsunami, major earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc.
I have put my self as one of the possible victims of the disasters and i will be grateful if other people could pray for us and give a good hand while we are in trouble. That’s why, as long as I have the capability to help to relieve and support for the Disaster-Affected of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, i will participate.

We have introduced the thoughts of the three donors for the charity this time, but we have received wonderful thoughts from many people who share the same feelings about the project. We will introduce them again in the future.
